Hydra-dermabrasion Facial 90 mins

This amazing facial system combines 6 beauty treatment options in one unit resulting in the ultimate facial. During the facial, the correct peeling agents, serums and mask will be used as per the needs of your skin. This treatment deeply exfoliates & hydrates the skin (Hydradermabrasion), mechanically scrubs the skin for deeper cleansing (amazing for acne prone skin), , skin tightening and lifting using Radiofrequency, infuses products/nutrients into the deeper layers of the skin though Ultrasonic Soundwaves with additional benefits of improved circulation & lymphatic system. This advanced dermaplaning facial treatments entails thorough cleanse, a two step enzyme oxidation treatment which increases the O2 levels beneath the skins surface. Teen Facial 45 mins

Teen years have it’s own challenges and so does the skin. This teen facial targets over active sebaceous glands (oily!) , acne and sensitivities. In a comfortable and private environment, this facial involves deep cleansing, exfoliation, steam, extractions, finishing with a detoxifying & calming serum & mask. (And maybe a little coaching on the side!)

*For more sensitive skin, a Brightening Jelly Mask will be used.

Microdermabrasion

Microdermabrasion is a non-invasive procedure using a mechanical device to exfoliate the skin. Its deep exfoliation allows for a deeper penetration of products and renewal of new skin cells. It removes dead cells at a faster rate encouraging new cells and production of collagen. It can improve sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring and overall polishing of the skin. A nutrient rich mask is applied following the procedure leaving the skin with a healthy illuminated glow.

Hydradermabrasion

Similar to microdermabrasion but with the use of distilled H202 water and chemical exfoliants. This treatment deeply exfoliates & hydrates the skin with the help of either glycolic or salicylic acids and uses vibrational spatula which scrubs the skin for deeper cleansing (amazing for acne prone skin). This mechanical exfoliation device allows for a deeper penetration of products and renewal of new skin cells. It removes dead cells at a faster rate encouraging new cells and production of collagen. It can improve sun damage, wrinkles, fine lines, age spots, acne scarring and overall polishing of the skin

Mesotherapy

Take your face to the gym!. Needle-free face lift using electrophoresis pulsed current and high revitalizing nutritional products. NF mesotherapy is a pain free treatment and has become a benchmark device as far as non-invasive cosmetic penetration and face tightening. It can effectively penetrate the skin for up to 6cm deep into the subcutaneous tissue, increasing absorption of skin care products by 3-6 times while working the facial muscles resulting in firmer skin.

LED Infrared Light Therapy

LED (light emitting diode) is the application of specific wavelengths of light energy to tissue to obtain therapeutic benefits. In the way that plants use chlorophyll to convert sunlight into energy, utilizing specific, proven wavelengths can trigger a positive effect in human tissue. It has been proven to increase circulation, accelerate tissue repair, kill acne bacteria, decrease inflammation, improve skin tone, texture and clarity. 

This 30 minute procedure may be added to a facial treatment to enhance the benefits, or on it’s own as an individual procedure one to three times a week.

High Frequency Treatments

There are many benefits to High Frequency treatments. The blue/violet wand, uses Argon gas aimed to safely kill acne-causing bacteria, minimize inflammation & pore size and redness & reduce post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). The orange/red wand uses Neon gas which increases circulation, stimulates cell turnover, & increases absorption of products resulting in a tighter, brighter complexion. High frequency oxygenates the skin enabling a clean environment where bacteria cannot grow but collagen can.

Radio Frequency & Ultrasonic Infusion

Radiofrequency (RF) therapy, also called radiofrequency skin tightening, is a nonsurgical method of tightening your skin. It involves using energy waves to heat the deep layer of your skin known as your dermis. This heat stimulates the production of collagen.

Ultrasonic Frequency is a soothing, warm treatment which uses high-level sound waves to stimulate the skin and underlaying layers. The benefits are endless….boosts circulation & lymphatic drainage, reduces puffiness, promotes cellular renewal & firmness and enhances the penetration of valuable serums and nutrients deep below the skins surface.

CHEMICAL PEELS

Peeling Facial

Chemical peeling is one of the nonsurgical aesthetic procedures meant to sustain a youthful appearance. Chemical peels are chemical agents used to induce an accelerated exfoliation of the outermost layers of the skin, allowing newer and healthier skin to present itself. This procedure is beneficial for improving the skin’s colour, tone, clarity & texture, collagen production, breakouts, sun damage, hyperpigmentation and smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles. The peels used in most aesthetic practices are derived from natural sources such as glucose, fruit acids, willow bark, milk and vinegar.

The appropriate type of agent and strength is based on the clients skin condition and goals.

An medium intensity facial peel protocol, using glycolic, salicylic & lactic acids to treat dull, aging skin, acne and hyperpigmentation. (60 min) Not suitable for sensitive skin

Stand Alone Peel

A little more aggressive peel for skin that requires a more intense exfoliation to target dull, aging skin & hyperpigmentation. Includes a hydrating collagen mask. (30 min)

Brows & Lashes

Brow Lamination

Essentially a semi permanent perm which relaxes the brow hair leaving them with a fuller more shapely look. Add a little tint brow wax for more of a dynamic look. This treatment typically lasts 3-4 weeks.

Lash Tinting

A process of dying the eyelashes making them darker & more noticeable. It enhances the natural eyelashes without having to add more length creating a no makeup effect that is natural & bold. With proper care, this effect will last 3-6weeks.

Body Treatments

Cryotherapy

This is a safe, non-invasive, effective treatment for benign skin lesions such as skin tags, sun spots, melasma, warts, moles, fibromas, ruby points (red marks), milia, and seborrheic keratoses. Using a ‘Freezepen’ device, nitrous oxide is applied to the lesion for a few seconds to freeze and destroy the affected skin cells. Typical number of treatments are between 1 – 3, depending on lesion.

Back Facial

Yes! A facial for your hard to reach back. Double cleanse, tone, exfoliate, steam, extractions, infusion of serum, High Frequency treatment, massage, mask & moisturize. Add on Microdermabrasion or Salt Scrub for a more intense exfoliation. You will love it! (75 min)

Swedish Massage

Unwind with a 60 minute full body aromatic massage treatment or 30 minute back & neck treatment, & reap the benefits. Swedish massage can be traced back to early 19th century and focuses on improving stress & anxiety, tension headaches, circulation, easing muscle tension, and promoting overall relaxation. It uses a combination of long, gliding strokes, kneading, friction, tapping, and shaking movements to achieve these effects. For the ultimate relaxing experience, add a half hour Indian Head Massage!

Salt Glow Scrub

Exfoliating with a salt scrub not only removes dead skin cells and increases circulation, but it also encourages regeneration and greatly increases the absorption of nutrition from products. Sloughing away dead skin cells promotes the growth of healthy new cells. This regeneration process tightens the skin, giving it a firmer and younger-looking appearance and an attractive and rosy post-scrub glow. (Full Body 75 min, Back only 30 min)

Infrared Body Detox Wrap

The infrared body wrap is a great process to remove toxins, relax muscles, pain relief, improve blood circulation, increase your heart rate, cardiac output and metabolic rate, softens skin, relaxes and rejuvenates your mind. A mask or detox product is applied to your skin. You are then wrapped with a plastic sheet and then wrapped in the warm infrared blanket to relax for half an hour.

You will gradually build a deep sweat all while enjoying the benefits of heat penetrating deep into your tissues in a calm and soothing environment. After half an hour the mask is removed with warm towels at which time you enjoy a lymphatic drainage massage spending a little extra time in the areas with cellulite.  You will leave feeling lighter, relaxed and detoxified. (2 hours)

Indian Head Massage

Indian Head Massage (Champissage) is a complementary holistic therapy evolving from Ayurvedic medicine. ‘Ayurveda’ meaning “life knowledge, the science & wisdom of life”. With or without the use of oil, slight pressure is applied to what is referred to as ‘marma’ points, along with massage to help release tension and encourage movement of lymph, resulting in less pain and sensational relaxation. Indian Head Massage as numerous physical & mental benefits, for more information on these, refer to my blog page. This 30 minute treatment focuses on head, neck, shoulders & face, while a 1 hour treatment works on these areas along with a relaxing hand & arm massage & foot rub using a peppermint & rosemary essential oil blend. Either a stand alone treatment or a beautiful end treatment to a relaxation facial or massage.

Reiki

Rei (Universal) Ki (Life Force)

Reiki is the life energy that flows through all living things.  It is a spiritual healing art with roots in Japanese origin.  The word Reiki comes from a Japanese work (Rei) which means “Universal” and (Ki) which means “Life Force”.  It is not affiliated with any particular religion or religious practice.  It is simply, “Life Force Energy”.

Reiki discharges negative or blocked energy, replacing it with positive and healing energy, activating the body’s natural healing abilities on all levels, physical, mental and emotional. It is a pleasant and relaxing experience suitable for every living being.  During and upon completion of a session, you will feel a sense of enhanced well being, peace and calmness. 

While resting comfortably, the session will proceed with the practitioner (myself) moving through specific standard Reiki hand positions beginning at your head or feet. You might feel a warming sensation or a tingling during the session or nothing at all but sheer relaxation. The session should be very pleasant, relaxing and invigorating. Some of the changes you might notice are improved mood, clarity, calmness, improved sleep, pain relief, healthier digestion, and overall a sense of well being. The healing does not stop once the session ends, it is just beginning!

Micro-Needling

Otherwise known as Collagen Induction Therapy (C.I.T.), Micro-needling is a revolutionary way to stimulate normal collagen production enabling the body to take action and do what is is meant to do. After the skin is numbed, tiny needles penetrate the skin’s surface to various depths to cause a controlled injury and induce the skin to make more collagen. 

When done right, using high-quality equipment and products, micro-needling becomes one of the most cost-effective modalities for skin resurfacing, sagging skin, wrinkles, scars, pigmentation, stretch marks and hair growth. These microscopic breaks reach the blood vessels within the epidermis which then blood platelets release a series of growth factors that promote the production of collagen and elastin.

Using a Diode Laser, which I do, is considered one of the most effective methods of unwanted hair removal and targets the pigmentation of the hair. Waxing

Using a combination of quality soft & wax, this treatment not only pulls the hair from the root, it promotes slower hair growth, it grows in softer and finer and exfoliates the skin while leaving the skin softer. Over time most experience less hair growth in those areas.

Spa Pedicure

Whether it’s simply much needed foot care or a relaxing pedicure, it includes a little pampering. This service includes a soak using nourishing foot care products, nail shaping, cuticle care, exfoliation, finishing with a relaxing foot and lower leg massage. For a more luxurious & hydrating experience, indulge in Spa Pedi including paraffin wax, or a warm, aromatic foot serum wrapped up in warm booties…wonderful!!

Toenail Reconstruction

A light cured resin specially formulated for moisture content, fungus, re-construction and correction of toenails. This resin is not only safe to be applied directly onto the nailbed but also , has unique flexibility for movement, mimicking an actual nail. This procedure is ideal as a prosthetic nail as well as an extension of a disformed or discoloured nail.

Ingrown Toenail Application

A flat, tiny, rigid fiber brace is applied with LCN fastener to the top of the toenail. When bonded to the nail, the brace wants to return to its original flat form and gently lifts the outer edges of the toenail upward.

Manicure

Choose from a manicure with regular or gel polish or simply hand care without polish. All treatments include nail shaping and cuticle care along with a relaxing hand & arm massage, moisturizer and warm towels.
